During September 8-10, STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) celebrated 20 years together as a band and 10 years playing at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, just outside Denver. With two electric performances (the first of the two was the entire Artifactalbum!) and one night of Axe The Cables, the group threw-down one of their best runs we've had the pleasure to see in our STS9 careers. Openers included greats like Nightmares On Wax, Michal Menert, Soul Clap, Troyboi, Sub ID and more. In case you're not aware, members of STS9 include Hunter Brown on Guitar, David Phipps on Keys, Zach Velmer on Drums, Jeffree Lerner manning Percussion, and as of just over 3 years ago (replacing long-time frontman and bassist, David Murphy), Alana Rocklin on bass.
