On February 9th, Getter headlined Fleur De Lit 2018, the second annual Mardi Gras Mayhem. The two-day event was hosted by Republic NOLA and presented by Winter Circle Productions & BASSIK. Concert goers packed the venue in anticipation of their favorite electronic music producer. The crowd erupted in enthusiasm as Getter took the stage. Before long, Getter’s fans were eating out of the palm of his hand, devouring his iconic dubstep tunes ridden with heavy baselines and reverb. The venue vibrated to a meticulously woven tapestry of sound, osculating between hair-thrashing tempos and deep trap beats, as fans thrust their bodies to the music. Getter’s stage performance was infectious, provoking the crowd into an uncontrollable frenzy.
It’s no surprise that the 24-year-old music producer has been taking the EDM scene by storm since signing with Skrillix’s label OWSLA in 2015. Getter is one of the few artists that relentlessly pushes the envelope in each show, and his fans love him for it. Check out his newest release Colorblind below.
In addition to Getter’s amazing performance, Friday night’s gritty show was also fueled by supporting artists Klutch and Kidd Love.
