Like weed? Like dope music? If you answered "yes" to either of those questions, Denver has your perfect getaway in store for this year's 420 celebration. Known as The Mile High Block Party, 420 On The Block music festival is returning for its second year to WOW music lovers and cannabis enthusiasts.
One of the entertainment industry's biggest weed advocates, Action Bronson, will be headlining the three-day rager. That's right, Colorado pham, after last year's success, festival curators upped the ante and increased the event by two full days of partying. In addition to the Viceland superstar, the 420 On The Block lineup includes Break Science Live Band (feat. Adam Smirnoff and members of Lettuce), the uber-talented singer, songwriter and producer, Washed Out, as well as, Pretty Lights Music Allstars Michal Menert, Supervision and Chris Karns.
The notorious Matisyahu will also be making a sure-to-be memorable performance during the 420 phenomena. Other acts include Karl Denson's Tiny Universe presents: Eat A Bunch Of Peaches (Allman Brothers Tribute), Evidence, Mikey Thunder, Protoje, The Reminders and more.
When you think of sponsors, generally, thoughts of energy drink giants or insurance companies come to mind. At 420 On The Block 2018, just think weed! Sponsoring the event is none other than The Green Solution, one of the state's headiest dispensaries. I can only imagine what they'll be giving away as samples.
420 On The Block will go down at the city's only independent nonprofit event space, Fox Street Compound, this April 20th - 22nd. The only thing that could make this festival cooler would be reggae music -- oh wait, they got that, too! Sunday will be reggae all the way as Reggae Rise Up will take over the roster. 420 On The Block tickets are available by clicking the link below.
Oh yeah, don't forget about the after parties...
