TAUK Is Ready to Rage to Chicago

by on

This Friday night, October 11th at 10pm, the New York-based band, TAUK, will grace the stage of Chicago’s famous Northside venue, Martyrs, to bring you their unique take on experimental jam music.  If you like to be pleasantly surprised by new bands with raw talent, TAUK is a band to see.  In addition to showcasing their talents at big-time festivals like the Hangout, SummerCamp and more, they have extended their Fall tour to cover more ground in hopes to shock more people with their rare gift to play instrumental music that everyone can be pleased with.

TAUK’s new album Homunculus also helped propel the group from venue to venue and state to state.  Homunculus is one of those albums you can listen from start to end, then hit replay! On top of the album, the band’s cover of The Beatles’ “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” has brought people out by the masses to see them play it live.  Covers that are spot on with absolutely no lyrics are a must see; TAUK delivers an excellent take on the timeless classic off The Beatles’ hit album, Abbey Road.

So if you like genres like instrumental, fusion-rock, jam, psychedelic, or just music that you can rage to without singing along, then TAUK is for you!  Tickets are only $10 and it is sure to be a performance you’ll be talking about all Fall season long.
