Now in its 44th year, the festival presents over five hundred bands on twelve stages performing virtually every style of music. “Jazz Fest” as it is affectionately known, draws almost a half million music and culture crazed fans from all over the world to the Fair Ground Race Course each spring.  A true heritage festival, Jazz Fest stands alone in presenting the highest caliber artists in such varied genres as gospel, blues, traditional and contemporary jazz, rock, R&B, Cajun, country, zydeco and much more.

A big addition to this year’s Jazz Festival is the AXS TV live broadcast.  Thanks to Shell and StubHub AXS TV will display an impressive array of artists LIVE.  All headliners, discovery artists, and local musicians can be viewed throughout this new online live streaming.
